His Majesty the King is leaving Siriraj Hospital to the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall at 9:55 am Wednesday.
In the event broadcast live on TV Pool, people waiting outside the hospital chanted “long live the King” repeatedly as the king is boarding a van to head to the throne hall to grant a grand audience to his subjects.

The Royal Thai Army’s Royal Guards from 12 battalions will join the ceremony.
Army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha has instructed the troops to make sure the event organised in His Majesty’s honour proceeds flawlessly, she said.
The public is being urged to turn up and join the armed forces and state officials in wishing the King a happy birthday on Dec 5.
This is the first time since June 9, 2006 marking the King’s 60th year on the throne, that the monarch is to appear before a grand audience at the window of the Ananta Samakom Throne Hall.
His Majesty the King made an appearance on the main Mukkhadej balcony at the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall at the Grand Palace on his birthday Dec 5th, in celebration of his birthday at age 84 last year.
