The 38th Annual National Book Fair & 8th Bangkok International Book Fair are scheduled to open at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from March 26 to April 6, beginning at 6-9 p.m. on the opening date and open everyday from 10-9 p.m. daily afterwards. The combined events feature the best opportunity for Thai and English book fans alike to see over a million book titles under one roof, of which approximately 2,000 will be new releases, from about 420 local and international publishers. A New Title showcase allows visitors to read new releases before deciding to purchase them.
Fund raising activities for less fortunate young people to obtain books as well as events for all ages will be among special features of this year’s events including free seminars and a large addition of Japanese books, exhibitions, workshops and lectures.
